A Neuroaesthetics-Based
WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY EVENT
THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 2026
Choose from two
free sessions
• 10am PT / 1pm ET
• 4pm PT / 7pm ET
For each session, we’ll gather together for between 90 - 120min.
HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
-
A simple practice to help your mind learn what if feels like to notice and use the beauty around you.
Not because it “fixes” everything (spoiler alert: it doesn’t), but because the science of how beauty changes the brain can help to interrupt crisis, reduce harm, and regulate you in real time.
-
Intentionally chosen words on feeling deeply, finding hope, surviving, and staying, from bestselling authors in the mental health space.
Readings from Jamie Tworkowski’s If You Feel Too Much, Matt Haig’s Reasons to Stay Alive, Kevin Hines’ Cracked Not Broken, and Amy Bleuel’s Project Semicolon.
-
When you save your seat, you’ll see a space to share the name of someone you’d like to bring with you into the space.
Whether it’s yourself, a loved one, or someone you’d like to remember, together we'll honor each name submitted.
As we do, we’ll create something beautiful to remember those we’ve lost and support those who need to borrow our strength.
After submitting the form, you’ll be redirected to make an optional donation to the organization of your choice:
A little light housekeeping
Stay for Something Beautiful isn’t a fashion show, a display of heroic strength, or a place you must show up a certain way.
Come as you are.
It’s also not a therapy session and I am not a therapist, for better or for worse (probably better).
Connecting with other humans who are also going through messy human things is incredibly healing… and can still be a lot.
Please plan ways to take care of yourself before, during, and after our time together.
You’ll receive resources, a book list, the practice playlist + a few other things via email after we finish.
